SOMERVILLE - The Somerset County Clerk's Office, located in the county Administration Building at 20 Grove St. , will close at 4 p.m. on Wednesday evenings prior to holidays.

The County Clerk ’s office will close at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, before Thanksgiving, and on Wednesday, Dec. 22, before the Christmas holiday.  The County Clerk ’s Office will remain open until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29.

Office hours are normally 8:15 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and extended until 6 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.

County offices will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 25, and Friday, Nov. 26.  County departments also will be closed Dec. 23, 24 and 31. 

The Somerset County Clerk's Office administers oath to notaries public, processes passport applications, and records land records and related legal documents that deal with land situated in Somerset County .
