Cultural & Heritage Gallery exhibition through Sept. 26

SOMERVILLE - The Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Commission (SCC&HC) invites the public to a special exhibition of five artists presenting photography in different, stunning ways through Thursday, Sept. 26.  Each artist presents a unique and striking individual interpretation of photography.

The exhibition is at the Cultural & Heritage Gallery in the Somerset County Administration Building, located at 20 Grove St., Somerville, NJ 08876, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Photographs on display are by the following artists:  Navjot Singh of Somerset, who is the winner of the 2008 “Best Photograph” at the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge competition; Dustin Farnum of Branchburg, whose photographs have been printed in the Colorado Review and Weird New Jersey Magazine; Vivian S. Bedoya of Somerset, whose photography has been featured several times in the Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Commission’s Gallery 24/7 public art project: Art on Traffic Control Boxes; Jim Gilbert of Bernardsville, whose widely published work presents high-quality images of happenings in the natural world;  and Bill Hoo of Plainsboro, another Gallery 24/7 artist, who over the past two years has been selected into 16 juried museum and gallery shows, including the Annual Phillip’s Mill Photographic Exhibition in New Hope, Pa. and Monmouth Museum in Lincroft, N.J.
