NORTH PLAINFIELD – Somerset County Freeholder Peter Palmer formally welcomed Mayor Michael Giordano and members of the North Plainfield Borough Council to take ownership of the county-owned North Plainfield public works garage located at 29 Dupont Street on Wednesday afternoon.

“Somerset County is proud of its great relationship with North Plainfield, and we’re happy to contribute this garage to the North Plainfield Department of Public Works,” said Freeholder Palmer.

The Borough of North Plainfield plans to expand its public works facility, which currently occupies a space next door to the county facility.
