SOMERVILLE - The Somerset County Clerk's Office, located in the county Administration Building at 20 Grove St., is joining the Department of State in celebrating “Passport Day in the USA,” a national passport acceptance and outreach program. The event will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Information about applying for a passport is available at www.travel.state.gov, or by calling the National Passport Information Center , toll-free, at 1-877-487-2778.

The Somerset County Clerk's Office administers oath to notaries public, processes passport applications, records land records and related legal documents that deal with land situated in Somerset County .
